How to share your card by SMS / E-mail / WhatsApp / QR Code... ?
To do so, simply click on the share button on the map bottom right to open its menu.
Then choose the desired sharing mode by clicking on the corresponding button (The list of sharing choices will depend on the applications installed on the phone):
- SMS**: An SMS is automatically generated from the card (Hello, here is the business card of...). All you have to do is enter the mobile number of your contact in the field provided for this purpose and send the SMS.
- E-mail**: An e-mail with its subject is automatically generated from the card (Hello, here is the business card of...). All you have to do is enter your contact's e-mail address in the field provided and send the e-mail.
- WhatsApp**: You must have installed and configured the WhatsApp application in your smartphone. You must then select the contact to whom you want to send your card and click on "send".
- QR code**: This displays the QR code of your card. Your contact must have an application or WebApp on their smartphone in order to flash your QR code. Once flashed the card opens on your contact's smartphone.
- Copy / Paste<span style="font-size: 11pt;"> : This function allows you to "copy" the automatic sharing text of your card in the clipboard of your smartphone in order to "paste" it where you want (Facebook, Linkedin,...)</span>
Caution some QR code or SMS applications have their own browser that sometimes prevents functions of the card, like saving the Vcard or sending the SMS. Ideally, you should open the card in the standard browser of your phone (Safari on iPhone / Chrome ideally on Android / Explorer on Windows Phone).
Since iOS 10 on iPhone the camera automatically recognizes the QR code without any manipulation. Simply open the camera of your iPhone and frame the QR code (neither too close nor too far) a small thumbnail will open and you will just have to click on it.
